Hair Care Guide
Hair Care Guide
Your hair deserves luxury treatment. Proper maintenance can help preserve the softness, appearance, and overall quality of your KLC hair.
Washing
Wash your hair as needed using lukewarm water and a gentle shampoo suitable for human hair.
Avoid aggressively rubbing or bunching the hair together while washing.
Follow with a moisturizing conditioner and gently detangle from the ends upward.
Detangling
Use a wide-tooth comb, paddle brush, or appropriate detangling brush.
Always begin at the ends and gradually work your way toward the roots.
Hold the hair while brushing to avoid unnecessary pulling or tension on the lace.
Heat Styling
When using hot tools, always apply a heat protectant beforehand.
Avoid excessive heat or repeatedly using extremely high temperatures. Human hair can still experience dryness and heat damage.
Sleeping
We recommend removing your wig before sleeping whenever possible.
If you choose to sleep in your installed wig, protect the hair with a satin or silk bonnet/scarf and avoid sleeping with wet hair.
Products
Avoid excessive product buildup. Heavy oils, gels, sprays, and other products can weigh the hair down and may require more frequent washing.
Use lightweight products when possible.
Lace Care
Never aggressively brush, scratch, or pull at the lace.
When removing an installed wig, properly loosen any adhesive before lifting the lace.
Storage
When you’re not wearing your wig, keep it clean, dry, and properly stored. A wig stand, mannequin head, or protective storage bag can help maintain its shape and prevent tangling.
Remember
Human hair requires maintenance just like the hair growing from your scalp. How you wash, style, store, and care for your KLC hair can affect its appearance and longevity.
Treat your hair like the luxury it is.
